Statement of Faith
The Trinity
We believe in ONE God, existing eternally in three equal yet distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Colossians 2:9; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
God the Father
We believe in God the Father - eternal, all-powerful, and perfect, who is the personal and sovereign Creator of all things.
(Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2; Isaiah 64:8; Colossians 1:16–17)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, fulfilling the law of God, and willingly died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. He rose from the dead on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He reigns as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King, and will one day return to establish His kingdom in fullness.
(John 1:1, 14; Matthew 1:18–23; Hebrews 4:15; Isaiah 53:4–6; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 7:25; Revelation 19:11–16)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the hearts of believers, and dwells inside them. He guides, teaches, sanctifies, and empowers believers for godly living, service, and witness until the return of Jesus Christ.
(John 16:8–13; Titus 3:5; Romans 8:9–11; Galatians 5:22–23; Acts 1:8)
The Bible
We believe the Holy Bible consists of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. Written by human authors under the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it is the fully trustworthy and authoritative Word of God, revealing His will and plan of salvation. The Bible is without error in its original writings and is the final authority for faith and Christian living.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 19:7–11; John 17:17)
Mankind, Sin, and Salvation
We believe that mankind was created by God in His image, male and female, to know and glorify Him. Through the fall of humanity into sin, all people are born spiritually dead and separated from God. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone—not by human works. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, all who place their trust in Him are justified, forgiven of their sins, reconciled to God, and receive eternal life and the ongoing work of sanctification by the Holy Spirit.
(Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17–21; Hebrews 10:10–14)
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ for the Church. Baptism of the believer is an outward expression of inward faith and obedience, and the Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, proclaiming His death and resurrection until He comes again.
(Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–4; Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)
The Church
We believe in the universal Church, composed of all true believers in Jesus Christ, with Christ as the head. The Church is not merely a building, but the people of God, called to worship, grow in discipleship, live in fellowship, and participate in God’s mission to make disciples of all nations. The local church is an expression of this universal Church, gathered to build up believers and serve as the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.
(Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 1:22–23; Hebrews 10:24–25; Matthew 28:18–20)
