Street Level Advocacy:
Andrew Williamson
Proximity Church supports “Street Level Advocacy” based in Peterborough Ontario, through our support of Andrew Williamson and his family.
Andrew is the Assistant Advocate on a team of community volunteers who are passionate about people. They exist to connect street-affiliated friends with with resources that already exist within the city of Peterborough. They engage five days a week, providing food, coffee, tents, sleeping bags, and other supplies that help them to build trusted relationships with the intention to help people make “next steps” in a positive direction; physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
